It will be difficult to send the team to most places in Europe for the Germany style friendlies as youth leagues all across Europe will be scheduled to start with the senior league.

There are countries where the league structure is different like Norway, Russia etc but I don't know if it is possible to stay there for friendlies.

The match was played yesterday, 2 days after returning from Germany? Okay, and what level of juniors? Also U16? Which U16 players for India played? Were they the best lineup we can put out there or did Adam do something different?

I mean, come on. We even have video highlight proof that the India U16 team sometimes defeated some German youth teams and Scandinavian. So as much as you want to be pessimistic and say that the reports are "fake" or padded, I doubt they are actually worse than Cavellosim U16 side.

I like how you put in "juniors" next to Cavellosim in the first post to mislead posters, and later backed out after @ArsenalFan700 raised some questions.

Despite your weird innuendo(s), there is absolutely no doubt that this team is probably among the best this country has produced and certainly the best prepared ever, going to tournaments like the AFC and later the WC.

So what? This is not a TACA league game, this is a game between the supposed India U17 World Cup squad and the U20 side of a Goan side so be specific in this case.

And who cares if this team barely gets out of the group stage. It has been said throughout this thread that honestly we shouldn't care if we get romped in the World Cup, as long as we get at least 1-2 boys to come out of this group, some better infrastructure, and also general experience hosting international football competitions out of this tournament. That is all we should focus on, it is under-17 football, Nigeria dominates at this level for fucks sake! The result does not matter long term but how these guys play and how they develop, which from what we saw from reports, quotes, and even video, is promising.

Agree generally, except for the infra part: nothing is improving as far as football is concerned. Only paper-sealing the cracks which will go back to its normal state post WC.

Hopefully not if the ISL can become a longer league and a Super Cup actually does happen. The venues for the World Cup and the ISL are the same which would hopefully keep the venues good for longer rather than short-term and then nothing.

Eight big and nice stadiums and associated training pitches will do continuous scouting, coaches training, leagues across age groups, age fraud prevention, district level leagues?
