Just for the record, we will host the U17 World Cup and yes, India will probably not make it out of the group but more surprising things have happened in football so who knows... as long as we don't do badly and we give a good performance then everything should be fine.

Their policy is to give chance to new countries who are not regular top level nations in Football (Rankings, infrastructure).U-16 / U-17 has been hosted by China, Canada, trinidad, Peru, New Zealand in order to boost the interest and infrastructure in these countries which were not at good level at that time.
Nobody is talking about winning the tournament otherwise every time only Brazil, Argenitina or Germany will host the tournament. We will develop good 5-6 stadiums and Practice venues in the country. it will be a morale booster for those 16-17 year old Indian players who will play for NT in 6-7 years time.
Once FIFA boss came and signed commitment by then PM Manmohan Singh, deal is done and India will be the host. cant backout now, no need to do so.

@EastBengalPride Right you are, it needs a bit extra to distinguish between inner & outer layer. But to jump in to an abusive fight, you just need your fingers working, nothing else is required.
