well anyways 2nd division was having long list of clubs. better trim down to 8 or 10-those who can pay. make it 3-4 months atleast. the thing is that 2nd division clubs will earn money from gate receipt in home games. clubs in North East can attract 5000 crowd atleast. multiply that with 50 and you get 2.5 lakh rupees by one home game. <br>
4 Clubs( Aizawl FC, Chanmari FC, Dinthar FC, Luangmual FC) from Mizoram are applying for 2nd Division League 2013-14.. All these four(4) clubs are Mizoram Premier League Clubs...
<br><div><br></div><div>i am seeing now how a lot of people (in facebook etc) crying over the fact that teams like these are dying out...now tell me what had they done so far? making a squad 1 month before 2nd div? I believe there are few decent 2nd div team which atleast give a realistic try. Hindustan FC maybe in Delhi, but Delhi would have anyhow benefitted from them.</div>

You got to be kidding me munna.
<br><br>Just pointing that 2nd division clubs are saying that they have no money. my view is that if they get opportunity to host games in home and away games then clubs from manipur, meghalaya, kerala, Goan club vasco can generate good crowd and earn some money.<br>

<br><div><br></div><div>Well I don't doubt that clubs in say, Mizoram, can bring a huge crowd in the 2nd Division but doubt they would get any money from this. I doubt the prices are good and the total amount will not be big at all.</div><div><br></div><div>Plus any sponsorships will be small and once a club is promoted to the I-League they will be ripped to shreds.</div>
'<br><div><br></div><div>This is what happens when the AIFF are so stubborn to just say that the 2nd Division is a failure and to at least go the way of Japan and suspend the 2nd Division and pro/rel. No, that just can not happen.</div>
<br><div><br></div><div>HAL will not fulfill the criteria, and no way AIFF will encourage a 2nd team from Bangalore.</div><div><br></div><div>The statement by Khaleel was just a election stunt during the KSFA re-elections last month.</div><div><br></div><div>It's good that AIFF are squeezing out crap clubs from 2nd Division.</div><div>Having 28 clubs , with teams like KGF, Green Valley , DSK , Eagles, Kenkre, Kohima etc etc is just a waste, they just make a team 1 month before , and then don't pay the last months wages , copy paste the same formula & repeat each year !!</div><div><br></div><div>If teams can play silly wages to crap Nigerians and average Indian players, why are they crying about a 10 Lak participation fee ?</div><div>They would need to spend a lot more in the I-League and if they were to genuinely fulfill the criteria</div>
