East Bengal defeated Kalighat Club by a margin of 4-1 in a practice match at SAI complex this morning. Robin Singh scored a brace while Beokhokhei and Len scored one goal each. Keeping in mind the ensuing Fed Cup Coach Mr. Morgan wanted to test the strength of his reserve team and thus he fielded the second team without any foreigner. The most heartening thing is that Robin Singh is finding the back of the net on a regular basis and the new boy Len is quickly making himself worthy of a Red & Gold shirt.
