He has played for India u23, u19, u17 teams..never been very impressive...but now he is showing his worth. Bulpin saw potential in him that's why he was in first XI in the later part of last i league ahead of Fela and Jagtar. Interestingly, in these matches, Jeje scored a lot and Manan was the support striker

I think what he really needed was playing time. Right now from what I hear he is still a supporting striker with Air India but with Henry Ezeh. Thing is though is that he is actually playing matches constantly which is the case with most players (Robin van Persie for example)

No Indian is even in the top 10. Also what happened to Manandeep Singh. He was on fire and then he died out. Does it have anything to do with the fact that he is not getting paid and probably started to complain because I have also noticed that he has been starting on the bench lately for Air India and when he does start or get subbed in he plays second-striker. That role he has at Pailan Arrows was also second-striker and look at how that worked. 2 goals. I hope he makes a comeback.
Also this is why the AIFF needs to start some fielding restrictions into play as well. I know that will be hard but it is possible. Something like if your going to have a 4-4-2 formation only 1 of the 2 forwards can be foreign or if you want a 4-3-3 formation only 1 forward of the 3 can be foreign. Something like that.
