The ball was being tossed around in the Doyang D-box, and the clearance from Doyang defender found Monu's knees and the ball rolled into the net much to the disgust of the Doyang custodian.</b></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><b><br></b></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><b>Benri (15) threaded a beautiful defense splitting pass to Peirong (10) who made no mistake in dispatching the ball into New Market's goal, giving Doyang the much needed equalizer before HT.</b></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><b><br></b></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><b>10 minutes into the 22nd half, William (12) was one-on-one with New Market's goalkeeper and the pacy little forward finished it with a clinical strike in the far post. at all please with KK team today. The play from the beginning was not
looking good and after all the long wait in the sun the fans had to suck
up their frustration after the team refused to enter the field. KK
players should really get their play together both on the field and off
the field. Today's match shows the lack of leadership and
sportsmanship......agree that the referee went over boar<span class="text_exposed_show">d
with his actions/decisions but the team should really think about the
fans and the team image too. Now the junior training camp has started
and with all those freestyle competition the team had created a huge fan
base and being a favorite with many, the players should start acting
like SPORTSMANS and not some gang fighters. Like many supporters at the
stand said WIN OR LOSE the players should have atleast played the
remaining time rather than giving up because they got an excuse to stop
the game. Sorry but this huge fan is just not happy. (*People can now
throw rotten tomatos and eggs at me now)<br><br></span></span></h6>My thoughts since i didnt watch the match: Match started late at 5 PM, as we live in easter part of India it gets dark very quickly. Poor Time management from NPL and NFA, poor show of discipline and sportsmanship from Kohima Komets.<br>
Oh..this is the first year. May be NPL will learn from it. Its obvious that fans will want their teams to act like professionals but it will take time.
