<p class="MsoNormal"> Third
placed Barak Flamingoz takes on second placed Dimapur United FC in a
high-octane match this weekend in Mokokchung. Both teams registered convincing
wins last week to keep the league leaders Naga Tornadoes on their toes. Home
team Barak Flamingoz came from behind twice to snatch all three points to break
Life Sports’ winning streak in a tight encounter last week. Dimapur United also
registered a win after their opponents Kohima Komets walked off the field and a
walk over was enforced against them to award Dimapur United two more goals
ending the match in a 3-0 victory for the Dimapur lads. The top three teams are
separated by a point each and the result of this match would affect the title
race immensely. Barak Flamingoz have been phenomenal in finding the net in
recent times and they also have the best defensive record allowing in only 6
goals in 13 outings. Dimapur United has the most wins in the league with 10
victories from 13 games, but this weekend they face a tough Barak team and
unlocking their defense will be vital for their forwards. In the first leg
Barak edged out Dimapur 0-1 in a tight game and the return fixture promises a
full-blown attempt to grab all three points from either team. This will be a
cracker of a game and Mokokchung will be buzzing with anticipation as these two
powerhouses lock horns to challenge the other contenders for the inaugural NPL
title.</p>

against rivals Sangpang FC in the much talked about Mokokchung derby. The Red
Alerts are still unbeaten in 13 games having won 9 and drawn 4, seated on top
of the table with 31 points. They have the best scoring record in the league
