In my current perspective, I have overrated this league. I thought that it would change Nagaland straight away but then I realized that we should look at this from a realistic position. Nagaland has never been huge on the national stage in Indian football. How many footballers in the I-League are from Nagaland... very few, if any. How many people even knew about this league?
For me, this is just early days, off the field it is great. We are being informed and not let behind but at the same time we need to see more work in youth development and infrastructure. Kohima Komets and Life Sports are leading the way but we should also be seeing the top Nagaland teams like Naga Tornandos and Barak Flamingoz taking action.
Hopefully these things will get done and we can see Nagaland on the same level as Goa and Kolkata in 7-10 years. It will be a while and lots of investment but it will be worth it in the long run.
That is probably Nagaland's best stadium at this moment and look at the state its in. You guys have a long way to go but at least the journey will be more positive.

Thank you! Man its been forever since we even got word of a 2nd edition. Are you guys still thinking of doing a Apertura/Clausura style or will you continue with the single table?

Ten teams will participate in the second NPL.

Naga Tornadoes (zunheboto district)
Dimapur United (dimapur district)
Dynamic FC (dimapur district)
Zonipang SA (mokokchung district)
Sangpang FC (mokokchung district)
Kohima Komets SC (kohima district)
Barak FC (peren dstrict)
Doyang FC (wokha district)

Veda FC (kohima district)
United Redskins FC (mon district)

Life Sports FC and New Market FC have pulled out in this year edition for reasons other than football.
Might you have a source or link with this in it? (Wikipedia reasons)

Also, any idea why Life Sports is not in the league this season? Obviously if it is non-football reasons then it is not the I-League 2nd Division so what could it be?
