Sushanth mathew ,Dependable midfielder of red n gold brigade went through a nose operation yesterday and he will be out of action for quite some time now. He got this nose injury in the last match against churchill bros. Hoping for a speedy recovery of this midfield mayestro.

In the absence of both mehtab and sushanth, india u23 international and promising youngster subodh kr may just get the opportunity to play in the central midfield position. Trevor morgan has hinted in that direction.

Some good news for all east bengal fc fanatics. Right back avishek das, central back raju gaekward, left back saumik dey, midfielder mehtab hussain and striker robin singh all of them will be going to pune.
Mehtab, raju and saumik are most likely to be included in the starting xi. In that case khabra, nirmal and robert have to sit on the bench
