Kromah played as a GK during the penalties only I think. I saw a video of the match. He scored some goals also. He played against some chicken centre in this gully tournament.
Request for active intervention: Your association with Kingfisher East Bengal Club, India
Attn: 1. Mr. Hans P. van Zon, Senior Member of Board, Heineken 2. Mr. Shekhar Ramamurthy, Managing Director at United Breweries Limited 3. Mr. Maurizio Corallo, CEO, Perf Italia 4. Dear Sir:
You may have already noticed social media outrage against subject club’s management. As a stakeholder, we will like to alert you of the present unsustainable circumstances. We, fans and supporters of the club, will like to see your active participation in management and/ or your intervention to instill a professional management team with proven credentials.
The following points below highlight abject failure of the present management: • Failure to develop a long term goal or vision and execute it • Failure to translate mass support base into sustainable revenue stream • Failure to provide sponsors’ visibility through club events and merchandise sales • Value eroding interviews in media from top management and irresponsible media leaks of ongoing transfer market negotiations • Failure to manage and handle media; often generating negative press coverage harming club’s brand equity and associated parties image • Excessive knee-jerk reaction to short term results; often leading to face loss and chaos • Irresponsible recruitment of players leading to unsustainable teams; ever changing team sans any “face” • Wastage of resources (both money and manpower) in change of players mid-season; resulting in poor utilization of budget and loss of reputation in transfer market
The club’s immense support base is a dream for any sponsor house. The strong bond is built in over a century and often spread across generations and cuts across social and economic strata of Eastern India, in general and West Bengal, in particular. The club’s most significant asset, its human capital, is put at risk because of an incapable management causing irreparable damage.
We seek an end of this mismanagement under your stewardship. Your money and company’s repute is at stake. Our passion and love is at stake.
Removing Khalid will not help the club. However the removal of Nitu Sakar, Kalyan and Alvito would do wonders.
It's too unbalanced a squad and have been filled with Bagan rejects with Yusa, Eduardo and Kromah. A coach change won't help anything and fans know that. Today's post match protests were clearly against Nitu and Alvito.
Not satisfied with his consistent efforts of providing telling assists to opposition teams, Bajju Armand laid his body down on Eduardo against Minerva so Chencho could score. Now that's some commitment! Khankir chele sala
Unless EB draws or looses against Arrows at home (quite likely), Khaja (dickless in Bengali profanity also initials of Khalid Jamil) would keep his job, he has a 65 lakhs per annum contract with EB for 2 years.
Comments
Kromah was captured playing as a goalkeeper in khep ( gully) football before he started his second innings in East Bengal.
Bravo. Maidan culture!!
