@thebeautifulgame I agree with you. Professionalism alone cant take you anywhere professor. How do i put this.
EB is one club which has the potential to pull 70k + fans for every game not just a derby. If they ever care a little for what the fans need and not do cheap politics and be corrupt. We would have the true fan culture. We don't need this circus. But at the moment this circus does atleast try something out of nothing. EB is not doing justice to the people.
PS: I also hated the statement released by Quess. EB deserves better
A meeting between the club officials and Quess is reported to take place today. Subrata Nag of Quess is likely to meet the officials today at Kolkata. Bengali media is speculating that the purpose of visit might be to discuss the process of the separation of East Bengal and Quess
Alejandro is reportedly unhappy that the pre-season could not be conducted in Spain and opines that there would be some difference in quality of training there and in Kolkata. Meanwhile, there have been reports that the I-league would kick off with a EB vs RKFC match on 17 November. This would be a home match for EB, while Real Kashmir might have to play five consecutive away matches in the beginning of the league due to conditions in Kashmir
