@suyashu ya thats what we concluded. There are practice pitches in the vicinity which would have been excellent if it were there in Vashi

Ya its got to be excellent. These ones are 3rd generation turfs. I am sad that YBK got a poor deal. That turf should be relayed. Better still, if we can have a grass turf as good as MB ground in YBK

I would love grass turf for all I-league matches, thats the reason I like Pune Balwadi stadium the best for I-league matches. Ofcourse, on top of all is MB ground, unfortunately it couldnt be use for I-league.

hehehehehehe, get ready for the Salt Lake Stadium pitch to get worse when the American Football league starts and when you watch I-League matches you will see those random stupid lines. I am glad in the US the MLS clubs moved away from that but sadly India is just getting started with that shit.

Same with Balewadi.

In an exclusive interview with <a href="http://www.the-aiff.com/"; style="outline-style: none; ">www.the-aiff.com, Papas spoke at length about his priorities, challenges, coaching philosophy and perception about Indian football. EXCERPTS:

What brings you to India?

It’s a huge challenge for me – the challenge of developing a ‘sleeping giant’ into a powerful force. I think Indian coaches dont easily take this approach, I guess Arrows did this coz of its connection with Rob Baan, but then I cant be sure
