Seems like Leo Moura will never stop playing
Signed for one to the biggest club in Brazil Gremio which will play in Copa Libertos which is like champions league of south america
This makes me wonder why Indians like CK Vineeth who performed batter then Nazon can't get contract in UK/Europe. the nationality plays a big role in holding back Indian talent.
Kiwi player Kayne Vincent is playing in Thai League-2 club Air Force Central. Kayne Vincent used to feature for Prayag, Churchill and Mumbai FC. He is still only 28.
Vineeth had better stats but honestly Nazon has better attributes which makes him more attractive for clubs. And Nazon is being brought in as a depth signing who is also young.
I think some Indian players like Eugene,Keane and chhetri got what it takes to play in the Thai top tier. Like @goalkeepar said i think its the nationality which is holding them back.
In Asia it definitely is! In the Thai League you are allowed 5 foreigners per team, why would you waste the 4 main foreign spots on an Indian and definitely why would you waste the Asian spot on an Indian when you can find a cheap Australian from the NPLs or a cheap Japanese players for the same amount or even cheaper!
I want to see more Indians try to go abroad to the second divisions in Scandinavia. We have seen players come to India from there in the I-League and Indians have outperformed them. No reason we shouldn't be able to make it at that level, especially if the Indian player is willing to work hard and be patient. Look at Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, been in Norway for years and is slowly getting more opportunities and has easily shown massive improvements in his game. We need more of that.
