tfa is no more a regional academy...may he wants an academy like g-group academy which scout regional talent and groom them

Presence of top academy in its state its self is a great deal and we know many Jharkhand players who got chance in TFA.

Anyway India needs Football clubs in different states,AIFF has to do something about this.Take help from State Govt and local businessmen to set-up small professional clubs in different cities.

But it would be great for the players to have an academy for only Jharkhandis as this help academis like TFA scout better talent. FYI archer Deepika Kumari, who is one of the brightest prospect for Olympic medal in archery this year, came from a regional academy and then joined TAA.
Football is extremely popular sport in Jharkhand and if given proper coaching at the junior level and in rural areas there would be many players who can excel at the national level.

Well maybe if the AIFF start a meeting with the state associations they can get that done. I dont get why the burden always is on the AIFF. Everything is not there fault. They need to use the state associations more.

the reason behind more pressure on aiff is that excluding gfa,ifa and wifa may be we shall include NE state associations....rest are all but almost inactive so whatever the job it is to be done by the top body which is aiff

Exactly man if it someone who has to take initiative then it has to be AIFF,afterall they are the top most power.

Ya but they cant do everything at once. Sure they can set-up a plan but at the budget they have dont expect everything to get done quickly. Right now the pressure they are on is at an all time high.

Youth development cannot be possible without taking the schools in it. Just announcing some tournament will not do. Some steps can be followed by the AIFF or respective state association.

    1) Join hands with education authority.

    2)Find some sponsors for programme.

3)Make a list of schools with have 11 side or at least 9 side ground or which can arrange ground for regular school.

    4) Provide kits ; take responsibility of maintenance of grounds.

    5) Recruit ex-footballers only (who have played at least local leagues and have some education and good character) as game teacher in these selected schools instead of pot-bellied physical education degree holders (very few of them have actual passion for games). For these purpose a training programme can be arranged to make the candidate familiar with modern coaching.

    6) If possible make the recruitment provisional; the candidates have to do the necessary course within specific time.

    7) People who want to be Referee can be given chance as well.

It will not only help the kids who want to be footballers but give ex-players a livelihood who have not made it big in their career. It is better for sportsmen to pass their expertise to next generation than working in Police or Customs or Railway or FCI in sportsmen quota .

(Similarly which schools dont have grounds can go for indore games like TT, Badminton etc)

I am wondering why IM Vijayan has not started a Kerala team yet like Baichung with United Sikkim FC. I am not ripping Vijayan but he should have done it. I know he has a small academy.
