We need to convince Pepsi to join AIFF. Right now they want nothing to do with us but they would be willing if we provide a good marketed league.

As for me nything that makes football more popular in this country is great...i dont even understand how cricket can be called a sport!!!, pot bellied cricketers..12-15 member countries playing each other iscalled a world cup- what a joke..

If T20 is what it takes to make the game popular or give it a boost , lets make use of this opprtunity

I dont think its the fact that its T20. We should all look at World Series Hockey as an example. That league proved that cricket does not have to be the only big thing. Sure IPL is more popular but what we should be doing is trying to get popular, not get more popular as cricket.

Its like in the US. Soccer will never be more popular than American Football in the US while Football will never be more popular than cricket in India.

Its all about smart marketing and showing a good product.

Is AIFF not promoting Futsal??.. Futsal being played on a much smaller playing area and a slightly heavier ball forces a higher level of skill sets on the payers, which will then translate into improved performace and better technical players on the football field..

Its all about real football with AIFF. And I am happy with that. They already have a big task with real football so futsal will wait a bit.

I think all football clubs mainly the one in metros should give a serious look at futsal...
it could be a one hell of a promotional attempt by creating a futsal league and connecting with fans...
they could gain a lot with such tournaments

Futsal, Street Football Leagues and 1-week Camps for Real Football are a must for youth players.

Futsal and Street soccer should be implemented in the youth structure since it will be helpful in increasing the technical skills.....
