Agree with this news. Santosh Trophy is useless now. Just amateur. We can use that 1 crore for the U20 league as we all know long-term the U20 league matters more than the Santosh Trophy.

What would the state fed spend. They are super broke. Most of them r ad hoc committees. I guess many of them dont have offices either

It is better to stop being cricket where they have both IPL and Ranji Trophy and start focusing on club football, and more important I-League. Get rid of the I-League 2nd Division and get rid of the Santosh Trophy and start using that money on the I-League U20 league. Make the league better. Long-term it is the I-League U20 that will develop football, not the Santosh Trophy. Keep the BC Roy Trophy and the Mir Trophy but get rid of Santosh Trophy and I-League 2. That money can be well spent on something more important.</div>
