Daniel is with Roma but on loan with Perth Glory. He is as non-Indian as they come!
Shayne is not even with the Wanderers youth teams anymore and is probably not good enough for the I-League. He is an Aussie national now (passport) and will probably not go back to an Indian one.
Daniel may have sub-continental origin couple of articles state that he is of Indian-Portuguese origin
that may mean Indian [Goan] or Sri Lankan. Still not sure as I mentioned earlier if he's Indian origin or not.
Shayne played for the Aussie U19 team in AFC U19 in October started in 2 games and he is 18 played for NSW premier league champions Blacktown [ mostly sub] which is around I-league standards.
He's Talented may develop to be a A-league player all depends on the next season or two.
There is a Fiji-Indian named Roy Krishna playing in A-league decent player much better than Tolgay or Martins I think probably better than Bengaluru's Sean Rooney.
I-League is stronger than the NSW Premier League. Many players dominate there but dont do as well in India. Roy Krishna would be the best player in the I-League.
NSW Players is a more physical league than the I-league and most players technically more sound. But I-league has better foreign players but the difference is not much Sean and Tolgay are players who dominated NSW and are doing well in the I-league.There are few in South East Asia in HK n Singapore.
Just don't write off D'Cuhna yet .As far as i know he is still in Wanderers Setup he was at the Diwali function last month with the WSW team. he played in youth league last year and played the state league in the off season. State leagues run Feb to September .
