C Many Anglo-Indians did not register as Indian citizens after 1947. They carried on with their colonial era paperwork and immigrated to Australia in 1950s. In those days, children were added to their parents passport. Those Anglo-Indians have been denied OCI status
D Duly recognised marriage ceritificate of parents is required. Any loss of immigration statusin foreign countries. puts OCI in jeopardy.

its all case-by-case. Just having a PIO with surname of "Singh" and "Kumar" is not any guarantee of Indian paperwork. There is no such blanket umbrella for status. Birth of parent in India is not any guarantee due to reasons mentioned above.
Let them pass the bill, define the range of PIOs who can be conferred Dual Nationality and then they can discuss players on individual basis.
Yes government will pass this bill but in the next decade when it becomes a necessity, now we don't really need it. Dual citizenship agenda is also a form of votebank politics.
