I personally would never support such a campaign. Indian football must improve from ground up. That's the only way, that's how it's found to be the historically right process for all the nations who perform well at the world stage. If anyone is so keen to play for India, give up your "good life", live and play here for a few years and become a citizen.
My concern with easy inclusion of PIOs is that it might derail our already fragile youth development program. More so if we get some initial success with PIOs.. It might just lead to cutting Bibiano's salary to fund Yadav's scouting trips abroad!
Although I agree with you, I must say that the initial success will only do good for youth development. There's nothing better than success when it comes to getting kids excited about the sport.
