Two members of Wolves backroom Academy Staff will be spending a week in India with Wolves Community Partner Club, JCT FC.
Academy Sports Scientist, John Iga, and Academy physiotherapist, Jaswant Sodhi, have travelled to India to view JCT FC's facilities, share best practise and hold coaching sessions with the team and backroom staff.
The community-led relationship between Wolves and JCT FC was established in 2009 as part of the 'Wolverhampton-India' partnership which is a collaboration of businesses, education and public sector bodies in Wolverhampton.
Since the partnership began between the two clubs, a number of exchange visits have been arranged.
In 2009, Wolves CEO Jez Moxey and first team coach Terry Connor toured JCT FC's stadium site and training ground in Horshiarpur, Punjab, before Terry took a short training session with the JCT youth squad.
Similarly, in July 2010 five young players and a coach from JCT FC visited Wolves and spent a week training with Wolves Academy at the Compton Training Ground.
When the partnership was first introduced, Samir Thapar, President of JCT FC spoke of how the "sharing of knowledge and coaching skills will support and strengthen the clubs focus of developing football in Punjab at the grass root level", and this is exactly what the latest visit aims to do.
John Iga said, "I am really looking forward to the visit. It will be really interesting to see the differences in facilities and working practises between their club and our own.
"When Jas and I return, we will be sending them a report summarizing our observations from the trip and posing recommendations.
"Youth development is just as important to JCT as it is to us, and so we will be helping each other to improve the process as best we can."

Great,
if you can get interview from one of the heads that will be great....however, if that's not possible...what you can do is that write (he will help you if you want) an general article about the academy.
Take a look on the facilities, admission procedure, where are the players getting absorbed, who are the big players now who have trained there, where is the academy playing competitive football, trial procedure, who are the coaches, who are the main sponsors, what are the improvements they want, any foreign collaboration etc. Once you get these answers, it is possible to compile them into an article - It will be great to have a series of articles about the academies. Somesh already did the PIFA article.
