When money comes from Central Government for Asian/Commonwealth/SAF/National Games, they build infrastructure. After that, state governments are unable to even maintain the grounds or to repair the floodlights. Shame really!!!!
The flood lights of YBK was fully instaled by 12th jan but due to some technical problem one side of stedium lights wasn't working properly. The company who are instaling the new lights had to almost uninstal that sides all lights. Thats why this delay.
9th feb KOLKATA DERBY whould be the first match under the new flood lights.

Seriously Curious!
Let me guess, Churchill Brothers awarded 3 points for 1st leg Mohun Bagan Game?
More drastic, ONGC, AI to be thrown out of the I-league mid-way?
Me too. I think it is Bilal's transfer to Al Ain. This can impact CB title race, but not much.

And thus the reason why club ownership is good. Problem is most clubs would probably have trouble maintaining the ground as well.
