ONGC - Mohun bagan match will be held at Jawahar lal Nehru Stadium, Delhi while rest of the home matches at Ambedkar Stadium. Interesting as it looks like they are expecting big crowd for Mohun Bagan match. Now it seems ONGC will play whole season at Delhi so we will see bigger crowd for Shillong Lajong match.
I doubt the crowd will be that big. I think it CAN BE big but not huge enough to get a huge atmosphere at the JNS.
good that delhi is able to witness i-league action.....but yesterday's match was played at 3 pm, even though ambedkar stadium has floodlights.... any particular reason for that? onset of winter?

they have to lease the stadium from Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Charges are higher for Night matches becoz of floodlights as compared to day time. As they were not anticipating TV telecast or bigger crowd in evening, I think it was just a money saving tactic. But I think that in future for say ONGC home match against Shillong Lajong and East Bengal, they will organise it in floodlights. Same way Air India and Mumbai FC organise there home match at Pune in daylight.
It was totally sold out..many people had to stay out without tickts..some had to watch from rooftops and on top of buildings...amazing craze for Indian football in Delhi!!!
This reminds me that Prayag United official commentary for the match said 'The environment is ready for the match'. Obviously there was only environment to witness the match
