Pathetic performance in my opinion.
The midfielders and Forwards are useless.They play one touch or pass backwards and give the ball away when they have plenty of time and when they should pass the ball back and wait for the support , then they will try to dribble past 5 opponents.
Common.. cool down guys.. its ok.. this will be the way we will play against these teams like Russia, Iran etc..Its difficult to match these teams physically and admit it we are not good passers yet, though we are making good progression. Our defenders are bound to make mistakes as they are young players, and also they are defending for most part of the game..I am sure our performances in next two matches will be better..Russians couldnt score against us in first half..If we could have avoided those mistakes, we could have managed a draw. This is the way we will be playing stronger opponents for some years, i.e defensive style . I guess Pinto will use an attacking style for next game.
I am the biggest supporter of the teams especially the Youth Teams and I hope that Boys play well in the upcoming matches but today was the shittiest I have seen any of our Teams Play(At all levels) in a long time.
All the 3 goals were conceeded due to Defensive Howlers instead of Mistakes.
In every goal we had at least 2 chances to prevent the goals.
Our Midfielders and and Forwards are the worst.They think they are World Stars or something. They didn't have even 2 Consecutive Forward Passes today.
They lack Game sense,poor awareness of the opponents,poor passes,poor touches,poor body positions etc.
Nobody is expecting them to beat Russia but their performance was pathetic to say the least.They have got enough exposure to at least construct 2-3 passes in my opinion.
Worst I have seen by an Indian Team at any level in a long time.
