Thats correct. MLS is planning to adopt it soon. I think they even tested in one of the matches recently, just as trial. <br>
<br><div><br></div><div>Hope they do. It would be a great marketing thing for them as people would want to tune in and hopefully see it in action. As a fellow New York sports fan I hope the first review is at Red Bull Arena.</div>
My personal view is against using any electronic technology. If goal line technology is used than the men in black will just be some machines on the field plus a lot of time will be lost.<br>
and its not like we will be seeing 2-3 ghost goals in every game. This will rarely happen and hardly any time will be spent.<br>
<br><div><br></div><div>You should know from NFL and MLB and NBA that these things take longer than 30 seconds. Maybe 1-2 minutes. </div><div><br></div><div>Also if FIFA allow it than what will happen next. No more ties? Quarters not halfs? STOP CLOCK!?</div>
Tennis line calls don't take 1 min..its one of the technology being considered .fifa wd definitely understand it cannot b 1-2min delay, will slow everything down..decision to be made in 30-40 seconds
