Interestingly, the average age of the squad will be below 19. However, Kharsyntiew believes his team has maturity, given their preparations in the SPL 2018.
"We have promoted some players from the youth team. Most of the boys (11) are from the squad which won the U-18 I-League. We have some senior players like (Aibankupar) Dohling, Samuela (Lalmuanpuia), Phurba (Lalchempa) who are all below 22 (with the exception of Dohling - 22)," Kharsyntiew stated.
The oldest player in the squad, Rakesh Pradhan, is 25. Although only three players from the present squad of 21 players are above the age of 20.
Arrows all the way. I am rooting for Arrows to win the title this year. No jokes they have already beaten an Argentine u19 side and locked horns against their European counterparts. Odisha has got a team to cheer for this season. Anyways CFL is already over and practice matches against Goan teams have not done much good to the previous u19 batches, when they were based in Goa. With the cramped schedule of this years I league there will hardly be anytime left for other leagues and it will also be good for the youngsters to not put too much pressure on themselves.

Arrows should have their base in Kolkata or Goa and play in GPL/CPL too.
