Guys. Players should have some monetary/sponsorship benefits along with clubs approval. Else why would foreign players play this namesake friendly. Atleast there should be some kind of motivation.
this can be treated as like a charity/community shield match. The revenue from ticket sales should be used such.

In Pre Season they can play as a fitness testing game or a promotion event.
After the season ending, they do not want to get injured. Monetary or fitness benefit is not present for them
They sign up a deal with club, not with AIFF
in season begining, its not fair to pick random forigners and indian players. AIFF can provide match day fee to the players. just 1 match only na.

I believe any match, even a friendly, involving NT will generate enough interest for some companies to be incentivised to act as sponsor. Plus AIFF can pay the foreigners match fee for such friendlies. It will be much more cheaper than organizing a friendly with a strong African or Asian team which will demand money for playing the friendly plus expenses incurred on their travel and stay in India. And on top of that most pf the international europe based star players of such cou tries are either not released by their clubs or such star players are themselves not interested in playing a match against a lowly opposition like India and risk injuries. So these so called "quality" teams end up sending their B- grade team to India for such friendlies!
Thus it makes sense to play agaibst best performing foreigners in India which will be equivalent of playing agaibst a mid-level european team. It will give our NT better competition. It can be made into a trophy game and promoted big time to get some revenue out of it.

AIFF needs a separate deal for National Team.
Then Friendlies against international Teams will get hosted in India,
    We will see Television coverage

Currently one Private company holds all the Rights. They consider every Football Activity in the nation other then their own Private Franchise Tournament as unnecessary and a competitor.

All those people saying that we need ex-sportsman in the administration, not Politicians. Will it change anything ? Power stays in the hands of same vested interests.
Did Ganguly change BCCI when he became President ?

National Team calender for rest of the year.

Jun 08 - 14: AFC Asian Cup Qual.
    Sep 10 - 18: AFC U20 Asian Cup Qual.
    Oct 01 - 09: AFC U17 Asian Cup Qual.

For Men's senior team, there will be only one FIFA window (instead of three), i.e. September 19 - 27.

For Women's team, there will be four more FIFA windows with 2 matches allowed in each-
    June 20 - 28
    August 29 - September 06
    October 03 - 11
    November 07 - 15

An efficient FA would have used all these windows to arrange friendlies. Sadly we have our AIFF.

He might act laughable at times but this is a good opportunity missed. He spent 30k USD to participate in Mina cup. Aiff doesn't do anything for clubs to generate revenue but could support these minor expenses the least. Top Aiff officials pocket 10 times these amounts and do nothing
