Very good choice but I doubt playing against Barca or Real will be way too expensive. There are other top spanish teams in the La Liga table. Atletico Madrid are having financial problems so they are one of the options. Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and Villareal are not that bad.
Well Wim Koevermans wants U-23 players to travel to Spain to play a few practice matches not Italy.
These La Liga teams would play against any team as long as there is money involved in it. But I don't think they will field regular players for this type of matches. Reserve players with a mix of 3 or 4 regular players would be enough.
@Cybertron That was a joke mate... made obvious by the ":p"
And no, there would be no money involved because no one in India will give to shits about India playing against some random La Liga side. Unless it is Barcelona, Real Madrid, or perhaps Atletico then no one gives a shit. When India went to Europe last for the Asian Cup we played 3rd Division sides... the same will probably happen this time.

Well in 2000, India Football Team went to England to play Fulham and West Bromwich. those games were shown live on DD Sports.

Now it looks like a joke. We can play some Tercera Division (Fourth Level) for practice. Its more about team getting together in a camp.
