we are ready to donate to meet the expenses. not we there are thousands lakhs of supporters to donate. few months ago one fan club organised a very short noticed donation campaign for club souvenir, it accumulated around 4 lakhs in a matter of few days. certainly collective effort can raise money to bear expenses for couple of month or so. also we are getting 3.5 cr from ISL. Then why this? Come on please make this news a super false one. Can't bear this fact. Will probably stop watching indian football if it ever happens. @gaffertape no offence to you man but realy f**k the news. Hope this is just a speculation.

i don't think EB will succumb..i think MDSC...then MMB. ..only then will EB fall....but still don't see the big 2 going. ...

No one cares about MDSC anymore...especially after what they have been up yo last few years

I dont want I-League and ISL to merge

But ISL to separately develop into a long league
  • Msd disbanded due to financial problems...they dont have enough money to run a club and pay salaries for players....and they dont have good sponsers too thats why owners decided to disband msd....and its not becaz of isl :)

why not United Breweries Group selling the club? given the supporter base and infrastructure in place many corporates will be interested to take over if an option of joining isl is offered to them.
by the way what is the ownership % share? is it 100% by United Breweries Group or some other owners. It's not clear. seems to be kingfishers has a very limited role in day to day running.
  • Was reading eisamay Bengali newspaper. It seems they will not field the team this year but doesn't mean they are disbanding forever.

According to the officials, they will anyway not get to play in I-league first division even if they qualify through second division cause they do not fulfill the club licensing criterion. So why take the pain of playing in second division.

This goes to show they shouldn't be given chance anyways. Cause instead of progressing they are just hell bound to go as it is. Though it would be disturbing for football supporters in Bengal, I think club with such negative mind set should anyways leave football. To he** with their history.
