@footydip the match between EB and BEC was about 11 years back? I am sorry if I got it wrong, but the scenario in the Thai Leagues have changed a lot since then. Most of the club owners are politicians who have a lot of money.
Also Wellington Phoenix who came to play in India, I am not sure if it was their main team considering the fact that Friday Gbeneme scored 3 against them, although I may be wrong again.
That was pre-season so it does not matter, Wellington Phoenix could still probably wipe the floor with any I-League team... especially this seasons Phoenix.
But wow, still trying to wrap my head around the 5 foreigner thing... could really be a great thing for Thai football.
what is the point to prove? every tpl team us better than i league teams? it isn't sorry. and just wait for merge of i league and isl. then it will be compared only with csl and a league. Not TPL. Anyway there is no point arguing tpl is good or not. 2 /3 teams good for sure ( asian standard). anyway 2016 when asean super league will start we should see thai teams winning it easily as per your points . i will be waiting.
