@samiam First Round dates will clash with I-league and then we will not have time to prepare. Second Round is for top 40 teams out of 46 and atleast we will get 3 home and 3 away games. first round will be just 1 home and 1 away adn we may be out. Better to aim for 6 games and we get time. We cant play in april/May for 1st Round. Again cancel I-League or go unprepared without any camp. ISL delayed because of Cricket tournament and it has royally screwed our entire season schedule.
Blaming AIFF/ISL for this shameless ranking is not good ..
Lets Check Some Stats between october 2012 and October 2014
We lost against Afghanistan,Myanmar,Palestine ,Tajikistan, Nepal ,Singapore etc who were lower or same range in ranking and that's cost us so many points .
Then also we draw against Bangladesh Twice who were lower then us in ranking ..
Our wins only came against Lower ranked team like Guam, Nepal ( friendly ) , Chinese Taipei , pakistan , Maldives etc which means not much ranking points ..
National Team with Head Coach and supporting Staff should also take responsibility for this shameless situation ..
Here they are talking about putting an end to Thrid party ownership of Football Players. I wonder how it will impact Indian Football or experiments like ISL. Sepp Blatter will continue till 2019 and then Platini will take over-he is even worse. Blatter atleast took steps for Asia, Africa but Platini do not think beyond West Europe. All this noise about corruption is taken over by Media as they are in Cold War with Russia and as Russia is hosting World Cup 2018, British media, American media will try their best to jeopardise the tournament.
Oh come on munna.... I have not even heard of anyone saying anything bad about Russia 2018. In fact, the Brits and Americans praised Russia after a great Winter Olympics!
The All Indian Football Federation on Friday revealed the names of 14 clubs which have already been confirmed for the U-19 I-League set to kick-off from December 13.
The league, like last year, will be divided into zones in the beginning and the Top 2 or just the Zonal champions will meet in the final round.
Mumbai FC, Pune FC, Kenkre FC, DSK Shivajians and PIFA have been clubbed together for the Maharashtra Zone while AIFF Elite Academy, Dempo SC, Salgaocar FC, SESA FC and Sporting Clube De Goa will play the Goa Zone.
The Kolkata Zone this time will be having just 4 teams in East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, United SC and Mohammedan Sporting while the Shillong Zone, which existed last year, will be merged into the Rest of India Zone.
Teams for the Rest of India Zone is yet to be announced but looks like it will be comprised of four North East teams- Chanmari FC, Aizawl FC, Shillong Lajong, Royal Wahingdoh along with Bengaluru FC, Hindustan FC, Lonestar Kashmir FC.
Whether Tata Football Academy will participate is yet to be known.
