You asked this last time as well... maybe under sponsorships for IMG-Reliance. Football Sports Development runs the ISL and FSD is ran by IMG-Reliance who are in charge of sponsorships for the AIFF... I can see that being under sponsorships IF there is any money being given to the AIFF.
As for Bengaluru FC and Bharat FC... I would have said I-League Entry Fee but that seems to low to for Bengaluru FC and Bharat FC and just seems like a simple fee payed by every team.
Sponsorship category makes sense for IMG-Reliance and AIFF partnership although they should break it up with more sources of Sponsorships. Corporate entry fees is missing for sure. That entry is for all the clubs.
In Expenses, there should be more funding for State Associations, GrassRoot, Coach Education. AIFF Management should reduce their expenses especially Business Class Air Tickets for meetings should change to Economy Class. AIFF Management spend more money on themselves then I-league. :P
So will the I-league II winner qualify for AFC Cup in place of the Fed Cup winner?
I thought Fed Cup and I-league II are different categories ...
I like this format of I-league II, but this should have been done keeping the Fed Cup as suggested by the EB Official. Regarding money, getting sponsorship is IMG-R's responsibility.
good news and bad news. I like the new format of I league 2 but don't like shutting down a historic cup like fed cup instead they should change the format of fed cup into like FA Cup
IMG-R most probably dont want the ISL pre-season gets affected by the Fed Cup. But they can definitely alter the format and run it along with the I-League and
make 4/5 U-23 players mandatory in playing XI for the Fed Cup. That way, the tournament survives,
the format actually aligns itself with similar tourneys abroad,
more youth gets playing time and comes into limelight,
clubs can keep their best players rested for I-League and
smaller clubs get to play bigger ones hence bringing small towns into hosting matches with full houses.
@Eastbengalpride, your idea is good, from the perspective of development of the game. But viewed from another angle, this will not find favour with the prospective sponsors.
