I read about the U Dream and Hoffenheim project before but I was under the impression that they will send a group of 15-20 players every year to Germany to train for 3-4 weeks and rest of the time they would train in India under the guidance of Gawli and co. But this seems to be very impressive plan. Just curious what is the financial benefit of this program for Hoffenheim or U Dream for that matter. Training 15-20 players year after year in Germany with no return is financially no joke.
m.firstpost.com/sports/not-man-utd-or-arsenal-bundesliga-club-hoffenheim-is-making-a-difference-to-indian-football-2517542.html read this piece this morning. Maybe they want to open academies out here and will send the best kids out there for training. Anyway, the best under 15 kids will now train in Germany n not in TFA or PFC which is a good sign. TFA coaches screwed up the under 15 team so hopefully we will see some changes here too in the coaching setups as many kids who will return from these trips will don the Indian jerseys rather than from the Indian clubs.
TFA kids are from the feeder systems so maybe all genuine kids but quality is quite low I guess not even a single goal by them till now. They are the whipping boys in the group most proly we will see better team next year as this is embrassment for the management now
whenever we get some good news and mind is full of joy, suddenly gaffer or someone with insights arrives and shatter all dream in a second with some harsh truth. @gaffertape tell us something positive/ good which is going to happen in next 12 months in Indian football. feeling doomed.
