Chris Eaton, Executive Director of Sport Integrity at the ICSS“I am encouraged that the ISL has identified the possible risks it faces as it continues to grow and has taken steps to develop proper safeguards to deter corrupt and criminal behaviour.”
I fully agree with Archak. There is something called probability and that probability of match fixing does increase with no pro-relegation system.
Even in pro-relegation system, we have seen/heard of teams which are safe to loose against teams hopeful of either winning to going down to next level. This probability increases without any such system
Last season's final isnt a fiasco, it has been blown out of proportions by pathetic sore losers of FC Goa . It ended up being a massive boost to the morale of ISL critics who were too depressed with the fact that ISL was taking all the limelight.
