@usaindia- thnx for the info, i-league is lagging way behind in terms of no of league matches per team, media, sports infrastrucure and a lot of other things..... realistically we are still some 3-4 years away from AFC champions league  which is sad .... :-(<br>

<br><div><br></div><div>3-4 years???? Maybe for like 4-5 clubs but it will take us maybe 10-15 years to have the whole league done.</div>

<br><br>m trying to be OPTIMISTIC here... ;-)<br>

<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Now Quitula SC should look to strengthen their team get some good foreigner and move up the in GFA leagues and get into i league as soon as possible </font>

<br>Quitla SC is not that  strong. They are presently in Goa 3rd division. Its an amateur set-up. <br>

<br><div><br></div><div>i know that bt i want them to built good team so that they can play in i league soon </div>

<br>My village team Augustias Sporting too plays in Goa 3rd div. and we can anytime beat Quitla SC, in fact we have 80% success rate against them.<br>The Quitla ground is good one as mentioned earlier its just 4Kms from my place. we have our own ground but there is no grass cover for it. In between these two grounds there  are at least 2 more football grounds. The point is if all these  clubs come under one association within this 4km area and form a common club with a good coach than surely we can make a major impact on the Goan and Indian football scene. One more thing i want to add is whenever there is a village tournament going on the passionate crowd that come to see these matches is much much more than the crowd at the Nehru stadium watching the i-league.<br>
  • Blame the clubs for not being able to have a good stadium near there city. I mean only 1 club is based in Margao yet all 4 teams play there.

<br><div><br></div><div>I think that is what they mean. In order to get into the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup you need to have the club criteria done. So far no club in India has done it and only a handful really can.</div>
