The 24-year-old New Zealand forward has parted ways with Kolkata outfit Kayne Vincent, who spent 2 seasons with the Purple brigade. The New Zealander has forced a move to J-League second division side FC Gifu, believed to be prompted by the turmoil surrounding the Kolkata outfit.
While some claim the New-Zealander has switched in wake of greener pasture, club director Nabab Bhattacharya claimed to have not renewed the 24-year-older’s contract following its expiry after the end of the last season.
Mumbai Tigers have gone ahead and filled up their quota of under-23 players by signing five talented youngsters in the recently concluded trials. The Bimal Ghosh coached team signed Samson Nongrum (Bhawanipore FC), Shehnaj Singh (Pailan Arrows), Abhishek Ambekar (Air India), Pritam Singh (Sporting Clube de Goa) and Raju (RCF).
All the five players are proven material and are great addition to the team. The club also completed the formalities of Paresh Shivalkar and Lester Fernandes with them.
