As per newspaper quotes (Ananda Bazaar) MB is retaining maximum players including Odafa, Tolgay & Eche. Even Nabi decided to stay back as he is offered captaincy next season. Probably they will release Masih & Jewel based on current form. Sanju might join them, but MB should ideally be looking for 1-2 good defenders and at least 1 central midfielder, they should approach Climax Laurence or Clifford Miranda in case Dempo releases them.

Ageing legs....!!!! rather have somebody from 2ndDivn I league and with Karim at the helm, groom them. Actually its better for Bagan to bring new talents and as long as Karim is there, groom them up! MB having a coach for more than a year is unheard of  - either Karim wud get the boot towards the end of the next season or Karim himself wud look for even more money than what he earns now and wud leave Bagan. Post that again the game of musical chair of Bagan's coach's hat would start and hence its important that before that Opera starts, Bagan atleast should have a bunch of talented youngsters who can atleast bail the club out of relegation in 2014-15! </font></div> :D

<br><div><br></div><div>Thats ideal....but MB have never got it right in picking up young and talented players from other clubs; they only run for big names - reason being money! they lure big players with bulk of the available kitty and the officials double up as players' agent as well! For young and upcoming players, they dont have a price tag of few crores attached to their name and hence doesn't elicit any interest from these 3 jokers! </div>

  • Bagan should sign players that will improve them in positions they need. Does not matter the age as long as they know he will fix a problem.
