Nah! I wont say BCCI already won. ISL was anyways postponed by Star India cause they want to devote all the time to ISL. They want to put a good product on TV. And its the first season so you have to be extra cautious. Cricket is dangerous for growth of football in India

no,if BCCI won ,then lakhs of rupees already wasted by IMG as they have been removing the pitch and putting grass on it since last month plus they have spent something on drainage and dressing room facilities and what should KCA do?,they have to spend lakhs of rupees again for  rebranding pitch.According to Kerala media pitch creation will take at least one month. So it is impossible to conduct International match and ISL simultenously .Knowing IMG i think they already have acquired rights for using all hosting stadiums for months. They won't allow any other match to be taken place at the venue,be it cricket or I-League.We can asses this with the withdrawn of  Chennai City FC from the direct entry into the premier competition of INdia,The I-League

@coolgagan If Reliance Industries has revenues of up to $73 billion dollars then they should invest $1 billion in Indian football. I am sure they will get very good returns from this.

That's the revenue not the profit. There is technical difference between the two.
Nevertheless, its still HUGE. Most of the money comes from CRUDE OIL! Biggest earner.

@preetam: Pls can you provide source for the above news.

    ISL Teams expenditure :
    1. Atletico Kolkata    : 3,91,40,000
    2. Mumbai City FC   : 3,77,55,000
    3. Kerela Blasters    :  3,32,00,000
    4. FC Pune City       :  3,21,46,000
    5. Bengaluru Titans :  3,06,75,000
    6. Delhi Dynamoes :   2,65,30,000
Grand Total of 19,94,46,000 ( 19.9 crores by 6 teams or 199 million rupees for our foreign friends )
Add the 6  that NE United & Goa have "spent"  , we have roughly 25 Crores paid towards IMG-Reliance of which they have a % break down .

Eg if Gourmangi Singh is worth 80 Crores : His ISL Club pays IMG-R that amount and they will keep 30Crores & pay Mangi 50 Crores !!

As if this isn't enough.. of that figure of 25 Crores, they will also retain 3% i.e  75 Laks is recouped by them , just as AGENTS !
