@soccertub Those foreigners want India to remain below 150 in FIFA rankings. Don't listen to them. India needs to think big if they want to be successful.
Maybe those foreigners were not approached by IMG-Reliance.
Perhaps he is just overrated? I mean, come on... if this really was a wonder-kid then first of all, all those English sides would have signed him up and then either fought to get him a work permit via the FA and saying that he is a bright talent (which, since he is Indian and that is a massive market, the FA would be tempted to say yes) or they would have loaned him out to some European club.
Also IMG-Reliance will do anything to increase their profile and make money... anything! If Brandon Fernandes was really as good as people make him out to be then he would have been brought on and made the poster boy of ISL... I mean, imagine... an Indian player is ISL who has trialed with clubs in the Premier League with good reviews... hello, the money would simply role in. But, we did not sign him... 84 players and he was rejected... perhaps unfair, he is better than a lot of players in that 84 but he is not as good as the article says.
Also, I would be very suspicious of the agency he is a part of. They are not even FIFA affiliated and when you look them up you find nothing. Also, this brings up another question... Who the hell is in charge of Brandon's future? I thought it was ASD? Who the hell are Magnus Sport!?
