First off, if this stuff about Pires and Ljungberg is true then IMG-Reliance should have allowed these teams to select their own marquees. Secondly I really do doubt some of what @Gaffertape is saying.
Del Piero I doubt is in talks in Qatar. The man is in his 40s. Qatar does go for the big name, older crowd as well but never that old. I really doubt they would have more than a passing interest and that they would never pay him the amount he wants. Currently the man is in Los Angeles and will be in Australia next week.
And going back to Pires and Ljungberg, if that is what these teams said then they are idiots. Probably not the best indicator but once these players were announced we saw a massive uproar online from fans in India hoping to see these two legends. As for past it, these two are probably less past it than the Indians they would play with, they even trained at Arsenal... they can still handle that intensity.
And @munna219777 Calm you tits. They have released a date for October to December. Yes, not all marquees are selected but they have till October. And its not all hype and fake news... was it like that with David Trezugate or Luis Garcia or Joan Capdevila? No. Calm down man.

As for Freddie and Pires..I know @ArsenalFan700 is a gooner and believes these players are worth it...but don't forget they are on massive fees..so IMG-R needs to now offload them on to a club. I know for a fact that neither will play anywhere but centrally or in a free role and will be lazy bastards. Also you can get an equivalent player for less. Freddie will be in Bangalore next week for the Puma launch and tgey are hoping all this publicity will sway an ISL team into taking the plunge for him. ..I know for a fact he wont last even this short season..
Case in point. ..Robbie Fowler was chased by IMG-R and they were gonna offer him $350,000 for 3 months...so they would've sold him to a club for a bit more probably...when Dempo managed to speak to him direct for much less...IMG-R got their pantyhose in a twist and just said he wasn't marquee !! You don't play ball with them...they will play dirty.
Also 2-3 teams in ISL are just Benami owners for Reliance. .who will hope to flip them once values rise !!
