The players look decent but I fear that for us this will be fine but for the grand majority they will be disappointed. People expect the Premier League or at least something of the quality of the MLS or J. League... this will be just below that level with foreigners.
Ya, TV numbers, at least at the start, should be good.
I did talk to this guy who is very close with IMG-Reliance, apparently the marketing campaign will begin nearer to September 10th which makes sense to me.
Obviously Premier league or La liga is way too above our reach and level. But, I expect these players to put a good show. Most of the players are from first division leagues in their countries.While others are from second division and mostly all of them have played in good clubs. hmmm intresting development this. am sure rel had to front it. i guess the fashion for stars these days is to own a sports team... really not fussed about this as long as the club boosts chennai's football credentials and helps grass root level as promised which i doubt. nonetheless small B has quite a few tamil superstars in his side if he wants to market it thru his dad.
