@Ashindia Okay, first, lets get one thing straight... I am still neutral about the Indian Super League. I am 50/50. I may seem like a supporter of the ISL but I am more giving them a chance to prove something to me than giving them my full support. For me, I will be swayed by what happens AFTER the first season and then I will decide I am pro/against Indian Super League.
My post was only on I-League and ignoring the Indian Super League. I have no idea whether the ISL owners are good or better. Some indications had shown that some clubs are way better, some have shown they are no better than I-League organizations but the point I was trying to make was that regardless of ISL, the I-League is still a shit product which unless you are willing to go through years and years of rubbish then again, it is shit... it literally is.
That is what I was saying. Nothing about ISL but that the I-League is a rubbish product which is either to the point of no return or way to deep to fix in the near future. There is a reason people decided to go for the short-term money league over the I-League in the end.
And I agree with ArsenalFan700..If I-league teams wanted to do better they could have done wonders for the League. Instead they harped on only on what AIFF had to do..Infact the club licensing criterion kept on being pushed and deferred only because Clubs never took it seriously...If they were serious this could have been completed long ago and for betterment of Indian football they could have gone still further and implemented other things as well...But we all know they simply dont want to do it...So better they get some COMPETITION from other departments...SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST...if u want want to change then perish..As simple as that.whether its ISL franchise or I-League clubs..
