Idk, anyway, I just did and I am still not convinced that it will be any better than from what we get here. Think about it, if you are a free agent in September or contracted to a league that is only 2-3 months long then how good are you as a footballer? This is after the Summer window when teams all around the world are signing players and you are telling me that we will find 80 players whos only option was a 2-3 month league.
The organizers are daft if they think that would happen.
If Dwight Yorke and Louis Saha did eventually come to India for the ISL. ..they wud be such high maintenance liabilities. Neither wud be properly fit and wud play like a very technically proficient lazy African. They wudnt train hard and the only scoring they will be leading is in who bangs more Bollywood girls than the other Dwight Yorke could give Virat Kohli a run for his money in this !
I am happy that Bengaluru (and Pune probably) were denied teams in ISL. This will make them committed to I-league. And as @gaffertape apprehends, I am sure it will be more entertainment and money laundering than sports, that is, if it becomes successfull at all.
Cybertron is 100% right. At the same time we should also take some Liverpool players like Gerrard, Sturridge, Sterling etc. Really increase popularity.
