The Indian players clearly look motivated. maybe the presence of much better coaches or the presence of much better players, i dont know, but many indians are performing better than i league, while i league star foreigners are being slowly side lined. I hope the Indians get enough self belief that when they face these guys in i league, they don't fear them anymore. also hopefully, i league club coaches start trusting indian players more and go for a better combination. evn current i league champions had only 1 foreigner in attacking front. 2 defenders and 1 holding mid.

Another player who stood out was Ashutosh Mehta. Brilliant technique, composed, superb crosser, strong and high defensive work rate

Goans did not deserve such a pathetic team. Arthur Papas has ruined the team with these bunch of retards. Add to it Zico was not allowed to sign much on his own after his arrival. Dempo and Salgaocar should be thrown out from ownership. Fucking retards wid same old mentality. Goa n Pune will fight for the 8th spot. :((

Players are motivated because they are getting the recognition which is missing in I-League, also the perks(players can earn upto 25k-80k per match excluding salary) is just too good compared to peanuts offered in I-League. All these factors matter a lot, will they play with same motivation after ISL ?? most of them have already earned more than what they are going to in rest of the 10 months, so thats a big question now.

Also players being played out of the position is kind of weird, not sure how it will help NT coach in judging and selecting the players.

wow the fair weather fans are showing their true colours...

Only 3 or 4 games into a 14 game season and people writing off teams...

    1. Atlectico Kolkata : may be on top , but their formation and lack of attacking options, ,especially when Garcia is missing will cause problems...teams will nullify the threat of Fikru , and the more he is isolated , people will figure out how to frustrate him and get him sent off  , maybe they can draft in Odafa ;))
    2. Chennaiyain FC : defensively solid & what you would expect from an Italian ...struggle to score goals, and with the late pre-season , injuries will start to catch up with them...
    3. NorthEast United FC : again a lack of a proper striker will cause them to come unstuck against the better teams. Also the defenders aren't great,  will struggle to make play-offs
    4. Mumbai City FC : will only get better once Freddie Ljunberg and Anelka start playing , the fact that the Indians have done will in the meantime bodes well...probably the favourites if you had to bet
    5. Delhi Dynamos : if they can get over the Del Piero dilemma then they will be successful , if he starts to be a disruptive influence as hinted at , then this could be their downfall...Indians on team are very average and really need to step up.
    6. FC Goa : I think they are a lot better than the current form and table suggests , will start to move up the table with a few wins , as they are playing good football. The reliance on Ranty for goals will be their undoing , he struggles against good quality defenders, and I think they should consider using Tolgay as a winger , as his pace can help on the opposite side, as Clifford has been doing well. Dark horse for the last ply-off spot
    7. Pune City FC & Kerela Blasters :  I haven't seen enough , so will leave this to someone else..but i would bet against both staying where they are in the table
