    @coolgagan

    Then why not ISL invest in Indian players so that good Indian players come through the system, the sooner they start the better.

    Seriously difference in quality of ISL and I-League is not really huge, actually some I-League matches are better than few which were played in ISL.

    Those 4 teams can be kerala, chennai, delhi, mumbai.
    Goa, kolkata, guwahati and pune wont field teams. That's for sure.

    assam as such don't have an I league team ( 1 / 2 below per div 2 team). so guwahati a pssibility ( also there is problem between lajong management and john)
    Goa already have i league team of their own ( merging to salgaocor and dempo will be good)
    kolkata already expressed interest to field team. dada told the reporters.
    pune is a genuine concern. i hope they realise and fold their business as soon as possible.

    I-League should just be folded.

    I just read an interview of Sourav Ganguly. He said due to hurry ATK couldn't sign current players from top tier clubs of Europe. He has plan to bring current in form players in next season.

    Since i heard the news of MFC game in Cooperage, though without stands open, i have been dreaming of a likely derby between Mumbai FC - cooperage and Mumbai City FC - DY Patil stadium

    Kushal Das says that the four franchisees will be 'allowed' in I-league provided they have 'proper infrastructure in place'. Nice decision.

    That remark prompted me to take stock of the infra of the Kolkata clubs -- I-league and other -- and here is the findings of my research:

    MB infra: Club tent
    EB infra: Club tent and a jacuzzi inside
    ADK infra: not much that I know (not even a bathtub; and the LED billboards around the field in YBK are owned by IMGR, not ADK)

    Can anyone shed more light into it? That is, if I missed anything?
