KD is hinting at ISL teams joining I-League...

Delhi Dynamo's are the only realistic one , and the 2 South teams, but they are miles away in terms of getting their act together to tick AFC criteria

More teams in I-League means longer duration and from 2015 NT will be playing regularly, so how does Mr Kushal Das, Dhar & Co plan their calender next season ??

easy....make Fed Cup run during mid-week, have 14 teams, so thats only a 26 weeks league , i.e., you can finish the league in 5.5 months...

That is the current plan... start I-League on August 2014 and finish by end of year so ISL can start in January 2016...

not  " confirmed " rumour , but this is some of the chat that was going on in corridors ....

@gaffertape that sounds a perfectly planned league season for i-league like other countries.... that would be fabulous if happens

But any idea when will 2nd div happens... or even worse will there be a 2nd div?

But what about the World Cup qualifiers ?? I-League, Fed Cup and WCQ all in 6 months ? not possible

14 teams in a knockout style Fed Cup...would mean adding 2 qualifiers and then finishing over 4 weeks...so plenty of time for the WCQ
