Clubs should consider Tanzanian Premiere League players. They regularly take part in African continental competitions and earn well below $50k. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmanuel_Okwi
A little boldness from clubs like Pune FC or Dempo can bring him to India. Only 21, loads of international goals and an integral part of national team. Clubs can sign him on a long term contract. Maybe even sell him. Dempo should lure him with a promise of FC Midtjyaland.
FC Midtjyaland also has tie ups with FC Ebedei of Nigeria. Many young players from academy of FC Ebedei have gone to Denmark. Lets hope that Dempo gets some good players from there on Loan for Dempo SC and send our young players from Goa for training in Denmark.
They have sent to players to Denmark before... Myron Fernades and Aniston Fernandes. Both players went and came back and have since gotten sparse minutes in the I-League. Mind you, both will enter the 2014-15 season as 21 year olds so that does not matter for now.
However, other than that nothing else has happened and honestly if we could bring players then it would have happened last season or even the season before that. Nothing has really happened though and the FCM connection will do nothing because doing well in India is on thing, doing well in Denmark is another thing all together.
