It had to be. KA Morning Star FC is much ahead of other clubs in organisation (at least their website gives that impression). Personally, I would have preferred a more spread out league, say a 6 month one league.
@footydip agree with you, but the #IMG cronies can atleast be more benevolent to state leagues who are not comepting with #ISL and try to help states organize leagues rather than tournaments....but the mood at dwarka seems to be everything is for #ISL everything else that happens is incidental and is "tolerated" till it becomes too popular, when the India's white masters will step in and kill it. How many times have we seen any of the AIFF top bosses comment on developing state leagues/zonal leagues to broaden the appeal of football or even lend a helping hand???
Sikkim Himalayan SC thrashed Nirvana Delhi 6-0 to clinch the last semifinal berth for the State-level Independence Day football tournament here at Paljor Stadium. The picture shows Ong Tshering Lepcha (blue jersey) in action for Sikkim Himalayan SC against the Delhi side. He scored one goal. The other goal scorers were Karney Limboo (2), Nima Lepcha (2) and Bijendra Rai.
First semifinal on August 12: Central Command vs Kanchenjunga FC, Siliguri Time: 2 pm
Second semifinal on August 13: Sikkim Himalayan SC vs Sikkim Police Time: 3 pm
Same way, Bangalore has stopped Stafford Cup and Bombay needs Rovers Cup. These tournaments can be organised when ISL is going on and non ISL players can participate in that.
