Indian State Leagues and Tournaments Thread

Teams like CRPF, police, power, RCF coach factory, bsf should be omitted from the league. Professional football clubs should only be allowed in official state leagues.

Let these institutional teams play in unofficial tournaments. Every state must follow Assam and oust these institutions once and for all.

For state leagues, I would disagree @atuljg. For NT leagues yes. Some of these institutional sides do provide a good platform for youngsters

it's just a state league not even 2nd division.. there is no harm in having those clubs..

Please check the contribution of states with no institutional clubs like Goa and Northeast States barring Assam (Assam ousted these clubs only last year) towards mainstream national football. They have contributed a lot more players than these states. I'm certain that Assam will also be contributing players soon. The other states must follow especially Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal.

Indian Army organise Durand Cup. It was never dependent on any corporate Dole. All these tournaments are finished one by one on the orders of a Powerful Business Group who organise a Masala League.
