Agnelo Colaco found his striking form just in time as Salgaocar FC trounced Viva Chennai FC 3-0 to seal a berth in the semifinals of the 1st AWES Cup at Duler Football Stadium in Mapusa on Sunday.
Salgaocar became the second Goan team after Dempo SC to qualify for the last four stage with an all-win record.
Gilbert Oliveira gave the Norberto Gonsalves coached side the lead in the eighth minute. New recruit Agnelo then unleashed thunderous strikes, one in each half to give Salgaocar plenty to cheer.
