He went through multiple knee surgeries. So it would be foolish for us to expect that he could ever return to his previous form. We can only hope that he can return to the field. He had started his rehab a few months back thats the last i know.... @rudra da could give him a call
Shilton didn't have multiple knee surgeries, he suffered a knee injury playing for Pailan in the Fed Cup in Pune 2 years ago. ..thrn on his return in a friendly with Mohd Sporting he broke his leg ! I spoke to the BFC coaches about him last year and they had been monitoring him ever since. They were due to look at him in the friendly earlier this year when Colm took his India junior team to play in Bangalore. He didn't play in the match due to a hamstring strain , but was given the chance to prove himself over this season. Ashley and Pradyum decided to take a gamble on him like they did with many others last season . He is considered a slighlty more experienced and polished option than an other imprrssive young CM Vineeth Rai
Coaches chat to one anothet and BFC asst coach and head of youth have very good scouting netowrk amongst coaches. Even Arthur has benefited from his work with AIFF. Also helps that player's want to join these clubs/coaches

yeah.....indian u23 is good enough to beat the likes of lebanon, myanmar ,tajikstan....and gud enough to hold UAE....under arthur pappas india did that earlier...jeje and alwyn george was star for them then...
turkmenistan will be 73 in next ranking...now they will be in top 10 nation of asia and india will be back in 150.....i guess india shud take advantage by playing against phillipines, turkmenistan ,palestine these 2 will be hovering in 100's ranking...india will get gud points against them if we win....
